Scituate Federal Online Banking is a software package that processes your Scituate Federal Savings Bank account data and displays it via a secure 128-bit encrypted web browser. You must log in using your personal account information. THIS IS CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION AND SHOULD NEVER BE GIVEN TO ANYONE! The service combines account information, transaction information, and bill payment services. You can use your personal computer to search through your transaction history, transfer funds, and pay your bills online.

What kind of Internet browser must I use?
Before you begin, your browser must meet certain requirements. You must have 128-bit encryption. 128-bit encryption is the scrambling of information transmitted over the Internet. This is to ensure the security of your personal financial data.

You will need an internet browser which supports HTML 4.0, 128bit SSL encryption and JavaScript enabled, such as:

What is Online Bill Payment?
Online Bill Payment is offered in conjunction with Scituate Federal Online Banking. This is an OPTIONAL service that lets you pay your bills without ever writing a check or licking a stamp.

The way it works is simple - you type in information about the payee and the amount to be paid. Your payee information is then stored electronically so that you can begin building your own payee list to choose from, eliminating the need to type in the same information each time you pay a bill.

Once a payment request is submitted, the requested amount is debited from your Scituate Federal Savings Bank checking account and remitted to the payee. The turn-around time is usually 5 business days for an online check payment, or 2-3 business days for an electronic payment.

You can also create automatic payments that would be remitted on the same day of every month for a pre-determined time period.

How much does Online Bill Payment cost?
The cost of the Online Bill Payment option depends on the type of checking account you have at Scituate Federal Savings Bank.
